Royals Get Bombed by Yankees

April 10, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

They Royals will not play the New York Yankees again after Wednesday. There will probably be very few people, except the Yankees, upset by that fact. For the fourth time in four games the Bronx Bombers beat the Royals, mauling them 13-4 yesterday. Jorge Posada led the way for New York with a home run and four runs batted in. The Royals have now been outscored in their four losses to New York 29-9. Blake Stein allowed three runs in five inning of work to take the loss. Andy Pettite pitched into the ninth inning to win his second straight start for the Yankees. Same two teams do it again tonight at 7:05 p.m.
