Mark Quinn homered and knocked in five runs, leading the Kansas City Royals to a 15-4 drubbing of the Minnesota Twins on Sunday. The Royals scored more runs on Sunday then they had the entire season to that point (12). A.J. Hinch keyed a seven-run third inning outburst with a three-run home run. The Royals also exploded for five runs in the eighth inning. Mac Suzuki made his first start of the season for the Royals and pitched well. Suzuki goes five innings, allows a run on three hits and strikes out five. Royals welcome the New York Yankees to town tonight.
