The St. Louis Cardinals completed a disasterous trip to Colorado yesterday by losing to the Rockies 11-2. The Cardinals were swept in their three-game season opening series, being outscore 32-11 in the process. Matt Morris allowed ten runs in three-plus innings of work to take the loss. Pedro Astacio struck out ten in eight innings to pick up the win. The Cardinals only offense came on solo home runs by Mike Matheny and Ray Lankford.
