The New York Yankees jumped all over Royals starter Blake Stein for eight runs in the first two innings and then coasted to the finish of an 8-2 victory over the Royals. Stein really struggled for the Royals, allowing all eight runs in just 1 1/3 innings of work. He walked six and allowed a grand slam to David Justice in the second inning. On the bright side, the Royals bullpen twirled 6 1/3 innings of shutout ball and Mark Quinn hit his first home run of the season. Royals and Yankees wrap up their three game series this afternoon at 12:05.
