Smith Preparing for Draft

After leaving Missouri following his junior season, defensive end Justin Smith is readying himself for the NFL Draft. Smith has spent the past few months travelling the country for various combines and workouts. Mock drafts have Smith pegged as a first round selection, some slotting him as high as the second overall selection. Smith says that he will be visiting with the San Francisco 49ers for a second time in the near future. He also meeting will be meeting with the Atlanta Falcons the first week of April. The NFL Draft begins on April 21st.
