The State Supreme Court has set an April 25th execution date for Mose Young, who was convicted in the February, 1983, murders of three men during a robbery of a pawn shop in St. Louis. On February 8th, of 1983, Young got into a heated argument with a pawn shop owner after Young unsuccessfully tried to peddle a worthless item. Armed with a rifle, Young went to another pawn shop – owned by the same man – and shot and killed Kent Bicknese, Sol Marks, and James Schneider. Young also took the victims’ billfolds and more than $500 from the cash register.
