Jackie Stiles scored 32 points, including 17 over the final seven minutes of regulation, leading the Southwest Missouri State Lady Bears to a 60-53 win over Rutgers in Piscataway, New Jersey. This was the Scarlet Knights first loss this season on their home floor. The win moves the Lady Bears into the “Sweet 16” of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. There they will play top-seed Duke in Spokane, Washington. That game will be played on Saturday.
