Kansas City Royals lefthander Jose Rosado had to shut it down early during a simulated game yesterday because of shoulder problems.Rosado ws supposed to throw 60 pitches, but could manage to throw only 15 before calling it quits because of pain in his left shoulder. Rosado underwent surgery on that shoulder in June of last year after making only five starts in 2000. Rosado will not be able to take the ball on Opening day in New York because of this latest setback. Instead, righthander Jeff Suppan will take the hill Aprli 2nd.
