Senator Christopher Bond has introduced legislation in the U.S. Senate to deal with voter fraud. Bond’s “Safeguard The Vote Act” is aimed at closing federal election loopholes that lead to voter fraud. He says the legislation is in response – at least in part – to the recent election irregularities in St. Louis. Bond was infuriated on Election Night in November when a judge ordered the polls in the city to remain open beyond the 7 o’clock closing time. Bond says there are numerous other cases of election problems in St. Louis and he’s hoping the city will serve as a national pilot project for ending election corruption.
