Amid all the excitement of the Blues trade deadline deal with the Phoenix Coyotes, a hockey game still had to be played in Philadelphia against the Flyers. It was not one of the Blues best efforts as they drop a 5-2 decision to the Flyers. Kent Manderville snapped a 2-2 tie with a short-handed goal with just :35 seconds remaining in the second period. Lubos Bartecko and Scott Mellanby scored the St. Louis goals.
