State lawmakers are once again looking at “conceal and carry” weapons legislation. The bill is sponsored by Senator Ken Jacob of Columbia, who questions the need for most Missourians to carry concealed weapons. He wants tight restrictions placed on those applying for permits and he believes those applicants should demonstrate a need to carry concealed weapons. Opponents say the idea is an infringement on Missourians’ constitutional rights.
