U.S. Attorney General Ashcroft has used a Washington, D.C., speech to the National League of Cities to slam the practice of racial profiling – sometimes referred to as “D.W.B.” or “Driving While Black.” The former Missouri Governor and U.S. Senator told his audience racial profiling is unconstitutional and does not belong in the United States. He is vowing to do what he can to eliminate the practice or racial profiling.
