Rush Named All-Big 12 Performer

March 6, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri’s Kareem Rush has been named to the Associated Press All-Big 12 First Team. Rush earns the honor despite mising a month a thumb injury. The sophomore swingman is averaging 21-points and seven rebounds per contest. Rush also connects on 42-percent of his three point attempts. No other Tiger was given All-Big 12 consideration. Missouri opens the Big 12 Tournament Thursday as the six-seed against 11-seed Texas A & M.
