March 2, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

There is a new all-time leading scorer in Division One women’s college basketball and her name is Jackie Stiles. Stiles broke the record with 18:40 remaining in the second half of last night’s 94-59 win over Creighton with a three-pointer. She finished with 30 points on 11-17 shooting. She also hit on all six of her free throws. Stiles was honored after the game with a ceremony which included the declaration of March 1st as “Jackie Stiles Day” in Springfield.
