The Missouri Valley Conference has announced its men’s basketball postseason awards and the Southwest Missouri State Bears are well represented. Mike Wallace and Scott Brakebill were each named Honorable Mention All-Conference while Wallace also garnered the Newcomer of the Year nod as well as the Sixth-Man Award. Wallace, Brakebill and the rest of the Bears battle Wichita State on Friday night in the first round of the MVC Tournament.
