Tigers Get Overwhelmed on Road

February 27, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri Tigers fall to 18-10 on the season with a 76-61 loss at Texas. The Tigers were never in this one as they trailed by 17 at the half. Missouri shot only 34% from the field while the Longhorns hit on 57% of their shots. Wesley Stokes led Mizzou with 17 points while Rickey Paulding added 13. Sophomore Kareem Rush did not play in this game. It is possible he could return from his thumb injury Monday at Kansas.
