Marty Reasoner and Jochen Hecht each scored twice leading the St. Louis Blues to a 7-2 victory over the visiting San Jose Sharks. The win moves St. Louis back into first place. However, the news was not all good for the Blues as they lose defenseman Chris Pronger for the rest of the regular season with a broken left forearm. The NHL’s reigning MVP suffered the injury in the first period when he was hit by a clearing pass from teammate Alexander Khavanov. Pronger will undergo surgery this morning and the Blues are confident that he will return in time for the post-season.
