Matt Baniak scored a career-high 24 points while Maurice Jeffers added 20 leading the St. Louis Billikens to an 85-70 Conference USA win over UNC-Charlotte Sunday night. Jeffers added six rebounds and five assists as St. Louis improved to 14-13 overall on the season. They are now 6-8 in Conference USA action. The Billikens held the 49ers to 39-percent shooting from the field in the second half.
