Jackie Stiles finished with 39 points but it wasn’t enough as the 15th ranked Southwest Missouri State Lady Bears were upset on Sunday by Northern Iowa 99-80. The Panthers held Stiles to just 11 second-half points. However the 39-point performance does move Stiles to within 44 points of the NCAA Division One record for career scoring in women’s college basketball. Lady Bears fall to 19-5 on the season, they are 13-2 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
