Missouri Gas Energy, which jacked up natural gas rates in January and caused howls of protest, says it’s going to reduce them again, though not as much. It has asked the Missouri Public Service Commission to let it cut prices by 19%. MGE originally said it expected the higher prices to remain through June, but suppliers have lowered their prices sooner than expected.
