It’s looking less and less like a trial will take place on time for the kidnapping and murder of a Kansas City girl. Keith Nelson fired one of his two attorneys yesterday, and his April trial date seems to be in question. His defense is also trying to show he cannot get a fair trial in Kansas City because of the media publicity over the death of Pamela Butler, 10. Prosecutors say Nelson kidnapped Butler from outside of her home in 1999, sexually abused her and killed her before police tracked him down.
