Jim Talent went from U.S. Congressman, to candidate for governor, to college professor, all in just a few weeks time. Talent is teaching what has quickly become a very popular course at Washington University, on Congress and how it works. Talent admits he only had five or six lectures worked out when the class got underway last month and a couple of over-arching goals. The Wash U. graduate figures more than a few of the students will end up in Washington D.C., either as elected representatives or as congressional staffers. He is placing many of the students in his class in internships on capital hill.
