Missouri Head Coach Quin Snyder held a press conference today to discuss yesterday’s suspension of junior guard Clarence Gilbert and the dismissal of junior Kenge Stevenson from the men’s basketball team. Snyder refused to disclose any of the reasons behind the disciplinary actions, other then to say that no sort of criminal activity was involved. Snyder also would not give a timetable for Gilbert’s return. Gilbert is Missouri’s second-leading scorer at 17 points a game. Stevenson had played in 27 games over the past three seasons. The shorthanded Tigers visit number twelve Iowa State on Sunday.
