The Bears of Southwest Missouri State were punished on the glass Wednesday night and as a result they dropped a 68-65 decision to Southern Illinois. The Salukis outrebounded the Bears 42-28 with 17 of those caroms coming off the offensive glass. Dano Novak led the way in defeat for Southwest Missouri State with 21 points and four rebounds. The Bears fall to 9-12 on the season, they are now 5-7 in the MVC. Southern Illinois improves to 12-10 overall, 6-5 in conference.
