Carolyn Henry is raising money to build a Ronald McDonald House for pet-owners in Columbia. She says some dog and cat owners are willing to spend a lot of money to heal their pets, but sometimes need a place to stay, instead of a hotel or at the vet hospital. So far Henry has raised $13,000 for what she’s calling the Barkley House. She’s also working on several large corporate sponsorships. She intends to raise $2 million for the entire project and have the doors open within two years.
