The University of Missouri men’s basketball team received devistating news on Tuesday. Sophomore Kareem Rush will miss the rest of the season with ligament damage in his left thumb. Rush suffered the injury with 1:50 remaining in Monday’s 69-66 loss to Oklahoma State when he hit the floor after being fouled. Rush is expected to be in a cast for six to eight weeks after undergoing surgery today. The rest of the Tigers welcome Kansas State to the Hearnes Center tonight at 7:00 p.m.
