An 8-year-old south-central Missouri boy is being treated for acid burns he suffered after he and a friend played with a bottle discarded from a meth lab. Authorities say the two found a plastic bottle filled with acid from a methamphetamine lab dumped near his home just outside Cabool. The boy was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital after the contents splashed on his back. He was later transferred to the burn unit at St. John’s.
