February 5, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

A northwest Missouri state representative will soon resign his post to join the staff of new northwest Missouri Congressman Sam Graves. State Representative Jewell Patek of Chillicothe will become spokesman for Graves. Patek’s main role will be to work with the Agriculture Committee. He will also be a spokesman for Graves. Patek won his third term in the Missouri House in November. There will be a special election held to replace him. Patek is a Republican and is confident the party can retain his seat.
