A company that treats toxic materials has blown up and burned in Kansas City. Three firefighters have been hurt but their injuries are not believed to be serious. The EPA, the department of natural resources, and the state fire marshal are investigating. Solvent Recovery Corporation was already being investigated for ten possible violations of state laws on toxic materials handling.
