A fatal fire at a midtown apartment complex in Kansas City also injured several people and left nearly 100 residents homeless. The four-alarm fire started near the top of the nine-story complex. The fatality victim has been identified as Lewis Jones, 40. At least 7 civilians and 4 firefighters were injured. The cause is unknown. The American Red Cross is trying to find homes for all the displaced people.
