The boyfriend of a Kansas City woman sentenced to eight life terms in prison for letting two of her sons die has gotten a 20-year sentence for his part in the tragedy. Tony Dixon admitted he watched his girlfriend, Mary Bass, mistreat sons Gary and Larry, who died of starvation and untreated burns in 1999. He says it was wrong and stupid not to do something about it.
