Casinos loosen employment rules

January 24, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri Gaming Commission has approved a proposed change in Missouri’s Disassociated Persons Law, which makes it illegal for gambling addicts to enter casinos anywhere in the state. Chairman Glen Ullery says those who sign up voluntarily will now be allowed to enter casinos for employment purposes. A former employee convinced the commission she was capable of working for the casinos, despite being a “disassociated person” herself.
