The man blamed for sending out thousands of erroneous Jackson County tax statements last year has been fired. The county executive says Bob Boley has been fired because he never believed the problems with the bad bills were in his department. Owners of almost 120,000 vehicles got incorrect tax statements last November. The county has had to refund 450,000 dollars to taxpayers who paid the bills that were wrong.
