State Democratic Party Chairman Joe Carmichael sees great promise as Bob Holden begins his term as governor. Carmichael says Holden struck the right theme in coining, “One Missouri, one bright future.”Carmichael expects the two political parties to be able to work together this legislative session. He says the state has grown tired of the various partisan bickering that has become such a consistent characteristic of political discourse.
