A tow truck parade to Kansas City hall has gotten the attention of those inside. City leaders are now considering changes to a rotation list many small towing companies dislike. Small towing companies insist tight regulations were meant to keep them off the list. They also complain it will eventually drive them out of business. The ordinance prevents drivers from chasing after wrecks by assigning “turns” to companies on the list. A meeting between police, city officials, and towing representatives is set for Friday.
