Former Senator John Danforth is stumping for John Ashcroft again. Speaking on behalf of the Attorney General-nominee at Ashcroft’s confirmation hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Danforth spoke of how the team of Danforth, Ashcroft, and Senator Christopher Bond made big changes to the way in which Missouri government was run. Danforth says Ashcroft is also a man of integrity, who when he raises his hand and swears to God he’ll uphold the laws, will certainly do it. Danforth also recorded a political commercial for Ashcroft during the last days of his campaign against Senator Jean Carnahan.
