Fayette Public School officials will ask voters to approve a $2.5 million bond issue in April. Those who attended a public hearing on the issue recently seemed in favor, though Leech acknowledges people don’t like tax increases or bond proposals. But the superintendent says a high school is important to a community’s image. He is optimistic that voters will approve the construction, giving Fayette a new high school, middle school, and elementary school.
