Holden patient in search for judge

January 11, 2001 By admin Leave a Comment

It won’t be too long after Governor-elect Bob Holden becomes governor that he’ll have to decide on a nominee to replace Ann Covington as a judge on the State Supreme Court. Holden says he has no plans to rush things along. And he says there is no litmus test for the nominee, on abortion or any other issue. Among the people who’ve expressed interest in the job are two female appellate judges and former secretary of state Bekki Cook.
