One of the country’s top industry-watchers sees a lot of good possible out of the TWA-American Airlines Merger. Tom Tacker is an associate professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He doubts American is going to dismantle the St. Louis hub. Tacker also predicts the combined airline will be able to offer more direct flights out of those two airports and possibly lower ticket prices.
