A Lee’s Summit native is looking forward to a financially successful new year–playing video games! Jonathan Wendel, 19, who’s known as “Fatality” in video gaming circles, won more than $100,000 last year, playing in tournaments around the world. “Fatality” says the secret to success is to practice, practice, practice. He says he practices 8 to 10 hours per day, just like any other professional athlete. There are several companies sponsoring Wendel, sending him on trips to Asia, Europe, and throughout North America to compete in big time video tournaments.
