Bob Holden has been sworn in as Missouri’s 51st person to serve as Governor in a ceremony at the State Capitol in Jefferson City. In his inauguration address, Holden said this is a wonderful time for Missouri, but he stressed the importance of Missourians coming together to work for a common goal. Holden says the spirit that pulled Missourians together following the death of Governor Mel Carnahan should stay with us as we move forward. He took the oath of office at 11:45 this morning.
