More fast-track construction planned

December 19, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

It’s time for round-two of Missouri’s highway bonding projects. These are roads designed and ready-to-go that the state is borrowing money to put on the fast track. The commission plans to issue $800 million dollars or so in bonds, and hopes to make a decision by early next month. Among the roads under consideration: Highway 36 in north-central Missouri, Highway 61 south of Hannibal, Highway 60 in southeast Missouri, the I-270/ I-170 interchange in St. Louis, and the Grandview Triangle in Kansas City.
