A federal judge in Missouri’s western district has sentenced a Colombian national to the death penalty. The case against German Sinisterra reads like the script for a Hollywood mob film. Sinisterra and two other Colombian nationals were hired to kill two other Colombians in Kansas City. The two victims had been running coke for a Houston, Texas, druglord, who accused them of stealing a quarter million dollars in drug money. The assassins bound, beat, and shot in the head Heberth Andrews Borja-Molina in November 1998. His nephew only survived by playing dead. The other two killers in the case will be sentenced tomorrow. The Texas man accused of arranging the crime is a fugitive from justice.
