Attorneys for the Kansas City woman who killed two of her three young triplets vow to appeal her life sentence. Defense attorney Randy Schlagle says Bass doesn’t belong in a prison. However, prosecutors vigorously opposed putting Bass under psychiatric care where she could eventually be released. Bass was sentenced to eight consecutive life terms for scalding and torturing her two eight-year-old boys, Larry and Gary Bass.
