One of the bigger snowstorms to wallop Missouri in the last couple of years is headed in. National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Hudson says it could really be a doozy–because storms that roll in from the Southwest have all the moisture from the Gulf of Mexico at their disposal. On the other hand, Hudson says storms that hit Missouri from the Northern Plains tend to race across the state faster, and don’t always drop as much snow. The storm is expected to hit the Ozarks very early in the morning, and the central and eastern parts of Missouri by mid-morning.
