No reports of delays at Kansas City International Airport, despite the icy winter conditions. However, travelers will encounter major delays trying to get into Chicago’s O-Hare and Midway airports, and some delays getting into Lambert Airport in St. Louis. Airport spokesman Joe McBride says the only delays in Kansas City will be for de-icing. He indicates that process can cause delays of 10-15 minutes. McBride says when weather like this hits…they automatically go into de-icing mode.
