Reuters News Service is floating the name of another Missourian in a possible Bush Administration. The Farm Bureau’s Charlie Kruse says he hasn’t talked with Governor Bush about being U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. He thinks some of the cabinet appointments will wait to see if the Bush victory is finalized. Kruse has a long history with the GOP, serving as state director of agriculture for republican governor John Ashcroft. Ashcroft has also been mentioned as a possible U.S. Attorney General. Even Jim Talent’s name has come up in discussions about a possible Bush administration.
