A year-long search for a new president of Missouri Western State College has ended. The school has chosen a provost from Youngstown State in Ohio. Dr. James Scanlon says his job in Ohio has prepared him to take over in Missouri. He says the one word he heard time and again on campus and in the community, was that Missouri Western is a family. Scanlon has been the president at Youngstown State since 1993.
