Prosecutors are eager to get a suspected mass murderer into court. Cass County Prosecutor Chris Koster filed 56 felony theft charges yesterday against John E. Robinson, Sr. Koster accuses Robinson of depositing checks sent to women he murdered. Robinson is charged with stealing social security checks from Sheila and Debby Faith, and alimony payments mailed to Beverly Bonner. Koster says the suspect had already murdered the women when he took their money. Robinson faces the death penalty in both Kansas and Missouri for the series of murders.
