A case of tuberculosis has been confirmed at Jefferson City High The Cole County health department plans to begin giving TB tests to students, staff, and faculty beginning on Monday. The state health department’s Vic Tomlinson stresses the ailment is curable, and there are medications available. Possible symptoms include a chronic cough, unexplained weight loss, night sweats, chills, or fever. More advanced cases can cause coughed-up blood.
